At VetMatch, we’re delighted to partner with a growing and well-regarded veterinary practice located in one of East London’s most eclectic and creative neighbourhoods.
This thriving community practice is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their warm and capable team, ideally for 2 days per week, with the flexibility to increase to 4 if desired.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a vet who enjoys a high-energy caseload, especially those with a keen interest in dentistry. The practice has earned a reputation not only for its high standards of patient care but also for its personable, community-focused approach.
This role is ideal for a vet who thrives in a dynamic GP setting with a high volume of routine surgeries and dental procedures. You’ll be part of a practice that has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment and is now fully equipped with all the tools you’ll need to deliver exceptional clinical care.
Support is always close at hand – from a senior full-time vet and senior RVN to a team of enthusiastic trainee nurses and an outstanding regional manager who plays an active role in the clinic’s success. You’ll also benefit from a direct link to a nearby 24-hour hospital for complex referrals and out-of-hours care, complete with advanced facilities such as CT, high-spec ultrasound, scopes, laparoscopic equipment, and an exceptional specialist team.

What’s on Offer:
  • A competitive salary band of £42,000 – £58,000 FTE, pro rata to your chosen working pattern
  • Flexibility to tailor your working week – whether you’re seeking part-time or more
  • 6.6 weeks of annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays, pro rata)
  • Private medical healthcare with Bupa
  • Up to £2,000 CPD allowance per year plus 5 days paid CPD leave (pro rata)
  • Relocation assistance available where applicable
Rota includes
  • 2 set days per week: Monday and Tuesday
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays (branch)
  • 1 in 8 Sundays (hospital)
  • Up to 2 bank holidays per year
  • Option to extend to a 4-day week with additional shifts at other nearby practices within the group
This practice is nestled in a charming village-style setting with a vibrant high street feel. Picture independent boutiques, leafy streets, and a strong sense of local community – all within walking distance to a major transport hub that zips you into Central London in just 20 minutes.
If you’re a confident and compassionate vet looking to join a practice that values your expertise, supports your career ambitions, and provides a truly enjoyable working environment – then we’d love to hear from you.
