We are delighted to be representing a truly special opportunity for a compassionate, capable and experienced veterinary surgeon who’s ready to step into a senior role in a beautifully positioned and highly respected South West London practice.
With the current Senior Vet heading off to explore the world, a rare opening has emerged – one that offers the chance to lead a bonded, skilled team and play a central role in shaping the future of a thriving clinic at the heart of its community.
This is more than a job — it’s an invitation to lead. You'll be at the helm of a close-knit team, supported by a dedicated senior RVN, passionate trainee nurses, and a collaborative part-time vet with a structured crossover. Clinical freedom, leadership responsibility, and excellent facilities make this a compelling next step for someone ready to take on a senior role with real meaning.
Benefits include:
  • Competitive senior vet salary of £63,000 to £83,000 FTE (depending on experience and development in role)
  • 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata)
  • Generous CPD support – budget plus 5 days paid CPD leave (pro rata)
  • Private medical healthcare insurance
  • Medical cashback plan – covering routine costs like dental, optical, physio and more
  • Professional memberships paid
  • Paid lunch breaks, employee assistance programme, and access to wellness plans
  • Relocation assistance available for those moving from further afield
  • Discounted pet care, colleague shopping benefits, and referral rewards
The Rota includes:
  • Core days: Monday to Wednesday, but flexibility for a 4-day week can be arranged
  • Weekend rota: 1 in 3 Saturdays (branch) and 1 in 10 Sundays (hospital)
  • 1 Bank Holiday per year

This practice is set in one of South West London’s most sought-after enclaves. Think leafy streets, an unmistakable village charm, independent cafés, boutique shopping, and a short stroll to the River Thames. There’s a real sense of community here, and the clients are wonderfully engaged, bonded, and largely insured – giving you the opportunity to build lasting clinical relationships.
Whether you're an experienced vet ready to step into leadership or a senior clinician seeking a fresh environment where your skills are respected and your wellbeing is valued, this is a role where you can genuinely thrive.
You’ll have the autonomy to make clinical decisions, the support to grow into a leadership role at your own pace, and the time to enjoy both your work and your life outside of it.
