Are you a confident vet who enjoys a good mix of consulting, routine surgeries, and building meaningful client relationships?
This well-established Merseyside Tier 3 hospital, supported by welcoming community branches, is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their collaborative team.
The site is impressively kitted out with digital X-ray, ultrasound, dental radiography, scopes, CO₂ laser, laparoscopy, a 64-slice CT and a 1.5T MRI, giving you everything you need to work cases up properly without compromise. You'll also benefit from close links to the referral team, ideal for anyone who loves continuity of care and learning from advanced caseloads.
You'll be joining a brilliant, diverse team including vets with certificates in medicine, surgery and diagnostic imaging, and others currently studying towards them. If you're considering a certificate or simply want more mentorship, you'll be fully supported.
This role is ideal for a vet who is comfortable consulting, performing neuterings and routine procedures and is happy with some sole charge (or prefers a sole-charge branch role with hospital support).

The Role:
  • Salary £38,000-£60,000 (DOE)
  • 6.6 weeks paid holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Full-time (part-time also considered)
  • 4-day week for a healthy work-life balance
  • Around 50% sole-charge branch work
  • 1:8 weekend rota or two Saturdays and one Sunday in 8 weeks
  • Some OOH contribution for holiday/sickness cover only
  • Option to tailor the role for someone wanting mainly branch-based work with strong hospital backup
The Package:
  • £1,750 CPD allowance + one week's paid CPD leave
  • Extensive wellbeing support via Health Shield
  • RCVS fees + two additional memberships paid
  • VDS cover
  • Enhanced family-friendly policies
  • Discounted vet care
  • "My Perks" discounts across travel, retail & entertainment
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Company sick pay & annual pay reviews
This is a perfect opportunity for a vet who wants to feel supported, appreciated, and part of a practice that invests in you.
