Our client is looking for a permanent Day Veterinary Surgeon to join their award-winning practice in Yorkshire.
This well-established team has become a trusted name in the local community and was named Best Vets in the county in 2022.
There is flexibility in how the role is structured—full time (40 hours per week with 1 in 4 weekends), a 35-hour week across four weekdays, or part-time options that include 1 in 4 weekends plus 1 to 3 weekdays. The role is open to experienced consult-only vets who enjoy client interaction and continuity of care but prefer not to take on surgical responsibilities. The team is very open to shaping the role around your clinical interests and preferred style of practice.
The practice operates from a modern, purpose-built site and combines a thriving first opinion service with 24/7 out-of-hours and referral care. The team of over 60 professionals includes colleagues with certificates in ECC, surgery, and dentistry nursing, creating a supportive and stimulating environment with a strong emphasis on collaboration and continued learning.
The right candidate will be proactive and confident in managing a varied caseload, with good medical skills and a team-first approach. ECC experience is beneficial but not essential. Those looking to pursue further training or deepen expertise in a particular area will be supported with generous CPD and access to mentorship within the practice.
The role offers a competitive salary dependent on experience, as well as a contributory pension scheme, paid memberships (RCVS, VDS), CPD allowance, company discounts and rewards, and free onsite parking.
If you are looking for a well-supported clinical role in a respected Yorkshire practice—with the freedom to focus on consulting if that suits your strengths—this could be the perfect next step. Get in touch to find out more.
