This position combines consultations, surgery and patient management within a busy small animal practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing consultations and medical treatment of small animal patients
- Undertaking routine surgical procedures including neutering and general soft tissue surgery
- Participating in the emergency and out-of-hours rota
- Maintaining accurate clinical notes and updating clients on treatment plans and results
- Supporting and advising nursing and support staff where required
- Providing clear treatment estimates and maintaining strong client communication
- Contributing to a collaborative team environment
The role offers the chance to be involved in both clinical work and team collaboration while maintaining strong relationships with clients.
The Role:
- 4-day working week (8:30am - 6:30pm)
- 1 late on-call evening per week until 9pm (1pm start on these days)
- 1 in 5 weekend rota
