This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RVN ready to step into a leadership role, with structured support and training available for those developing management skills.
You will work alongside an experienced vet and established support team, with additional guidance from a dedicated regional manager.
Out-of-hours support is provided by a nearby 24-hour veterinary hospital with advanced facilities including CT, ultrasound, endoscopy and laparoscopic equipment.
As Senior RVN, responsibilities include:
- Supporting and coordinating the nursing team to maintain high clinical standards
- Assisting vets in theatre and consultations
- Delivering excellent inpatient care and patient welfare
- Utilising Schedule 3 nursing skills
- Overseeing equipment maintenance and clinical standards
- Managing reception operations and ensuring excellent client care
- Supporting and supervising student nurses
- Salary: £34,000-£39,000 DOE
- 40-hour week
- 1 in 3 branch Saturdays and 1 in 10 Sundays at a nearby hospital (time off in lieu)
- No on-call
- 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays
