If you're a vet who wants to practise medicine your way, without the pressure of corporate KPIs, this is your opportunity to join a growing, independent group that truly puts its people and patients first.
Our client is an established and expanding veterinary group that’s proudly independent. With thirteen practices across the South of England, they combine the strength and security of a larger group with the flexibility, warmth, and clinical freedom that only independent ownership can offer.
Their brand-new Hampshire site is a purpose-built practice with everything you'd expect from a modern clinical environment—digital radiography, ultrasonography, an Idexx in-house lab, and dedicated surgical suites that also support visiting soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeons. Located within a high-footfall retail park, the practice is ideally placed to serve a growing client base and offers a vibrant, well-connected setting.
The current role will include sole-charge shifts but is fully supported by on-site nurses, an experienced director, and the wider clinical team across the group, which includes over 25 vets and 100 staff members. You'll be part of a group that genuinely values collaboration and peer support.
This role is ideal for a vet with at least two years’ experience who enjoys autonomy in their work but wants to remain part of a wider, supportive network. Full-time is based on a four-day week and every other Saturday morning, but part-time applications are warmly welcomed. There are no on-call duties, no Sundays, and no bank holiday shifts—because work-life balance isn’t just lip service here.
The salary ranges from £50,000 to £80,000 depending on your experience and preferred hours. Up to six weeks’ annual leave is offered, alongside loyalty bonuses, a generous CPD budget, paid RCVS and VDS fees, and discounts on both veterinary services and in-store purchases at Pets Corner.
If you're looking to join a team where your ideas are heard, your wellbeing is prioritised, and your clinical freedom is respected—without the pressures of corporate ownership—this role in Hampshire could be the perfect fit.
