We’re offering a rare opportunity to join a highly respected, RCVS-accredited Tier 3 hospital in Nottinghamshire.
This is an ideal role for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon seeking excellent clinical standards, genuine case continuity, and access to advanced facilities in a supportive, progressive team.
Our client’s practice is well-established with a reputation for both exceptional first opinion care and more advanced procedures. With over 17 vets on the team—including multiple certificate holders across surgery, medicine, ophthalmology, anaesthesia, and dermatology—you’ll be part of a diverse clinical team that thrives on collaboration and continued growth.
The role is full-time, although part-time hours can be considered for the right candidate. You’ll join the day rota, including some weekends, and benefit from a dedicated out-of-hours team who handle overnight care. A medical interest would be particularly welcome, and certificate study is fully supported.
The clients’ main hospital and branches offer access to high-end ultrasound, digital and dental radiography, rhinoscopy, laparoscopy, a fully equipped in-house lab, and advanced surgical tools. Services such as acupuncture, physiotherapy, and laser therapy are also provided.
Our client takes pride in creating a welcoming, team-focused environment where everyone is supported to grow. This role offers the chance to learn from experienced colleagues while building your own clinical specialism.
The hospital is based in Nottinghamshire with excellent access to the surrounding areas, major transport links including the M1, train lines, and proximity to East Midlands Airport—making it easily commutable.
This permanent role includes a competitive salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience, 6.6 weeks’ paid holiday including bank holidays, a £1,750 CPD allowance, and certificate funding. Subscriptions to RCVS, VDS, and one additional body are covered, and benefits include a pension scheme, Health Shield, enhanced family leave, generous staff discounts, cycle to work scheme, and more.
If you’re a team-focused vet looking to grow in a progressive, well-equipped hospital, we’d love to connect with you.
