Our client is looking for a veterinary surgeon with a surgical cert or a bias in surgery to join their state-of-the-art, independently owned hospital in South West London.
This is a rare opportunity to become part of one of London's largest independent veterinary groups, working from their flagship referral hospital where collaboration, clinical excellence, and career development go hand in hand.
This role is designed for a vet who thrives in theatre and is either working towards or already holds a surgical certificate.
You'll be part of a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team including in-house certificate holders and diplomates in surgery, orthopaedics, internal medicine, and dermatology. With access to an extensive range of advanced diagnostics, including a full on-site lab with same-day PCR, CT, and top-tier ultrasound, you'll be supported to work up cases thoroughly and see them through with full continuity of care.
This is a full-time, day-based role with a balanced rota and protected time to focus on the surgical side of your caseload. The role is tailored for someone who wants to deepen their expertise in soft tissue or orthopaedic surgery in a hospital environment that prioritises quality and teamwork.
The practice places a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing, offering 5.6 weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays as standard, increasing by one day per year up to 7.6 weeks (30 days plus any bank holidays worked in lieu). There's also a generous CPD allowance, which can be used for both professional qualifications and personal development.
The role comes with a competitive salary, depending on experience and qualifications, with regular reviews and clear scope for progression. Additional benefits include:
  • Certificate support and funding
  • Birthday day off
  • Paid sabbatical opportunities
  • Visa sponsorship
  • Staff rooms with healthy snacks and high-quality coffee
  • Perk Box discounts
  • Employee Assistance Programme
If you're a vet with a passion for surgery and are looking to work in a well-equipped, forward-thinking hospital where your clinical interests are supported and your contribution is genuinely valued, we'd love to hear from you.
