Are you a passionate vet ready to take the next step in your career? Whether you're already working at Senior Vet level or aspiring to grow into a leadership role, this is an exceptional opportunity to evolve clinically while enjoying a relaxed pace of life and a truly supportive team environment.
Our client, a long-established, RCVS-accredited independent practice, is seeking a talented allrounder to help shape the future of their close-knit team. With a strong reputation for clinical excellence and client care, this role offers the chance to be more than just a vet — you’ll be a valued decision-maker and mentor within the practice.
 Why this role stands out:
  • Senior responsibility without burnout: Influence clinical standards, mentor junior vets, and be involved in clinical decision-making — all with no weekends, no out-of-hours, and a reasonable working week.
  • Salary up to £70K DOE, with full-time preferred (40hrs), but part-time patterns happily considered.
  • Relocation package + accommodation available locally for those looking to make a move.
Our client is looking for a vet who enjoys general first opinion practice and is keen to contribute ideas, develop services, and support others. A passion for surgery is particularly welcome, and support for further training — including certificates — is actively encouraged.
This role would suit someone with a few years of experience who’s ready to take on greater responsibility, with the backing of a friendly and collaborative team.
 About the Practice:
This respected independent practice is based in a charming rural setting in the UK, offering a peaceful working environment with excellent clinical standards. You’ll be supported by two FTE vets, a Practice Manager/Head RVN, three experienced RVNs, two SVNs, and a valued admin team.
The team culture is friendly, down-to-earth, and inclusive. There’s a strong emphasis on wellbeing — from daily protected lunch breaks (yes, every day!) to social outings, shared dog walks, and ongoing team development.
The clinic is well-equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, multiparameter monitoring, powered dental tools, and in-house lab facilities, giving you the tools to work to a high clinical standard.
 Location & Lifestyle:
Surrounded by beautiful countryside, the local area offers tranquil walks, independent cafes and shops, and easy access to several major cities — ideal for vets who want both lifestyle and opportunity.
Whether you're seeking a slower pace or a new adventure, this location blends work-life balance with professional growth.
 Benefits Snapshot:
  • Up to £70,000 DOE
  • No weekends or OOH
  • 6.6 weeks annual leave incl. bank holidays
  • £1750 CPD allowance + 2 memberships paid
  • RCVS and VDS included
