Our client, a well-respected small animal practice in Norfolk, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and experienced team.
Whether you're newly qualified or an experienced RVN looking for a stable and supportive workplace, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow clinically within a well-organised and encouraging environment.
The nursing team works closely with three Veterinary Surgeons and includes five RVNs. A typical day sees two vets performing procedures alongside a consult-only vet, while nurses lead a busy and varied schedule of consultations—ranging from post-operative checks and second vaccinations to weight clinics and routine health checks.
The practice is well-equipped with two operating theatres, a tub table, multiparameter monitors, and doppler. Clinical standards are high, with regular branch and clinical meetings to support protocol development and continuous improvement. The team is passionate about delivering personable, quality care to every patient and client.
This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week worked across five weekdays. There is a Saturday morning rota involving one shift every 12 weeks at each of two sites—one is paid at an enhanced rate, and the other comes with time off in lieu. The role is primarily based at the Thetford branch.
The salary starts from £27,000 and increases depending on experience. Continued learning is actively supported, and RVNs are encouraged to pursue additional qualifications and clinical development.
Benefits include six weeks' paid holiday including bank holidays, £600 CPD allowance, paid RCVS and VDS memberships, and access to Health Shield for a wide range of wellbeing treatments. Enhanced family leave, discounted veterinary fees, CPD and training support, cycle to work scheme, sick pay, annual salary reviews, and a generous perks and rewards platform are also included.
This is a rare opportunity to join a genuinely supportive team in a well-run, patient-focused practice where your contribution will be valued, and your growth supported.
