Vetmatch is delighted to be supporting our client, a forward-thinking veterinary rehabilitation and wellness practice based in London, as they look to welcome a Veterinary Hydrotherapist and/or Physiotherapist into their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern, progressive service that is expanding across London and takes a genuinely holistic, 360-degree approach to rehabilitation, wellness, and long-term quality of life.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated physiotherapy and rehabilitation team, working closely alongside experienced orthopaedic and internal medicine vets. While experience in hydrotherapy, particularly underwater treadmill work for rehabilitation and fitness, is essential, the practice values curiosity, openness, and a willingness to grow rather than expecting expertise in every modality.
Experience or interest in physiotherapy, manual and land-based exercises, laser therapy, electrotherapy, kinesiology taping, red light therapy, acupuncture, or regenerative techniques is very welcome. Candidates with a stronger background in physiotherapy and less direct hydrotherapy experience are also encouraged to apply. You will be supported day-to-day by a Physiotherapy Director and a Lead Orthopaedic Vet within a collaborative and respectful environment where clinical input is genuinely valued.
The clinic itself is purpose-built and beautifully designed, with state-of-the-art equipment including an underwater hydrotherapy treadmill, laser therapy, land-based rehabilitation equipment, pulsed EMF beds, and a wide range of rehab and regenerative tools. The team takes a holistic approach, combining traditional veterinary medicine with physiotherapy, regenerative medicine such as PRP and stem cells, and complementary therapies. Preventative care, mobility, and improving quality of life sit at the heart of everything they do.
Each clinic is intentionally staffed and well resourced to ensure sustainability and team wellbeing, typically comprising two to three vets alongside a similar number of nurses and clinical support staff. Recruitment is highly selective, and the team is proud to employ clinically excellent professionals who value teamwork, professionalism, empathy, and continuous learning. The operating model is built around delivering exceptional clinical standards, showing genuine compassion to pet owners, and safeguarding the wellbeing of the clinical team.
As the practice continues to grow, they are looking for someone who enjoys being part of an evolving environment. An entrepreneurial and proactive mindset will suit this role well, with a willingness to take ownership, embrace change, and contribute positively to how the clinic develops. This is a team that values open, respectful communication and collaboration, and one where positivity and professionalism are essential.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality hydrotherapy sessions for small animal patients, support structured and engaging rehabilitation and wellness journeys, and provide clear, compassionate education and advice to clients. You will maintain excellent hygiene and water management protocols, ensure a warm and welcoming environment for both pets and owners, and keep your CPD up to date in line with the expectations of your governing body.
Applicants should hold a minimum Level 3 Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy and be a member of the CHA, NARCH, or ICH, with around two years' experience in small animal veterinary rehabilitation or a closely related field. A genuine passion for rehabilitation, patient outcomes, and collaborative working is essential.
The position offers a salary from £27,000+, depending on experience and qualifications, with meaningful salary progression linked to professional development and achievement. The benefits package includes 5.6 weeks of annual leave inclusive of public holidays, a CPD allowance, and reimbursement of relevant professional membership fees, alongside supportive leadership and real investment in your long-term career.
If you are looking for a role where rehabilitation is taken seriously, innovation is encouraged, and your wellbeing truly matters, this could be a fantastic next step. Vetmatch would be delighted to discuss the opportunity with you confidentially and help you decide whether this role aligns with your goals and values.
