Vetmatch is delighted to be working with a long-standing and well-regarded veterinary practice in London that is now seeking a confident veterinary surgeon to step into a key role at their popular site in the vibrant and culturally rich area south of the river.
This is an excellent opportunity for a vet who enjoys the pace and variety of general practice and is ready to take the lead within a friendly, community-focused team.
This role is based in a thriving part of London that has built a reputation as one of the capital’s most desirable neighbourhoods. With excellent transport links via the Northern Line and a loyal client base, the clinic is known for its welcoming atmosphere and consistently high standards of patient and client care.
The practice itself is fully equipped with modern facilities, including ultrasound, and benefits from a supportive clinical and operational structure. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced senior RVN, a part-time RVN, and trainee nurses, with additional guidance provided by a dedicated regional manager and a clinically experienced regional head vet.
The ideal applicant will be confident in all aspects of general practice, competent with routine surgery, and enjoy working in a close-knit team. The position would suit someone who values autonomy but thrives in a collaborative setting. The role is full-time with no on-call requirements, and a part-time vet will also be joining the team one day per week to support continuity and flexibility.
A competitive salary is offered in the region of £64,000 to £85,000 FTE, depending on experience and scope for progression. CPD is actively supported, with up to £2,000 available annually and five days’ paid CPD leave, including the option to pursue development in clinical or management areas. Additional benefits include 6.6 weeks of annual leave including bank holidays, private medical healthcare insurance through Bupa, and generous relocation assistance where applicable.
This is an exciting chance to take on a well-rounded role in a highly regarded London practice, offering genuine clinical freedom and excellent team support in a dynamic and community-focused environment.
