As Head RVN, you'll be the anchor of the clinical floor, helping the day run smoothly by supporting your team and ensuring the highest standards of care and professionalism.
The Role:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining RCVS practice and training practice standards
- Planning rotas, approving leave, and ensuring safe staffing levels
- Providing professional support and guidance to your nursing and VCA team
- Overseeing clinical standards and the smooth running of daily operations
- Ensuring equipment is maintained and issues are reported promptly
- Supervising and coaching clinical support staff and student nurses
- Overseeing patient care to ensure consistently high standards
- Managing stock levels and delegating tasks appropriately
- Supporting internal communication, FB case-sharing and team engagement
- Completing nursing reviews and NPS reports
- Regular communication with your line manager
- Continuing clinical duties, because you're still very much part of the hands-on team
- Salary up to £36,000 DOE
- Full-time (4-5 days/week)
