Are you an experienced Senior or Head RVN, Practice Manager, or Veterinary Leader who takes pride not only in supporting patients, but also in championing the wellbeing and growth of your team?
This award winning 24-hour Surrey hospital is home to a passionate team of vets, certificate holders, RVNs, and dedicated support staff, all united by a shared commitment to outstanding patient care. They are now seeking a confident, proactive leader, ideally an RVN ready to progress into management or someone who already has experience guiding larger teams.
In this pivotal leadership role, you'll work closely with the hospital's management team to ensure the smooth, efficient running of both the day and night teams. Your focus will be on creating structure, supporting development, and nurturing a culture where everyone feels valued and heard.
You will be instrumental not only in day-to-day organisation but also in shaping how the hospital grows, evolves, and supports its people. This is the perfect opportunity to use your clinical insight, people skills, and ideas to genuinely help to shape the future of this busy, well-equipped hospital.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Rota Management: Creating fair, efficient rotas for both day and night teams.
  • Team Communication: Organising clinical meetings, encouraging collaboration, and keeping communication flowing.
  • Complaints & Client Care: Handling clinical and service-related concerns with care, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Performance & Standards: Keeping a clear overview of clinical and service areas to ensure excellence across the hospital.
  • Delegation & Ownership: Supporting team members by giving them the tools, structure, and autonomy they need to thrive.
This is a rare opportunity to join a forward-thinking, supportive hospital where your ideas will be welcomed and your leadership celebrated. You'll be part of an environment where the team genuinely cares about each other, invests in development, and strives for the highest standards of care, not just for pets, but for the people looking after them.
