The role would suit an experienced, client-focused Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys GP work and has a particular interest in surgery, someone who takes pride in delivering high clinical standards while working collaboratively within a close-knit team.
As part of a large, family-owned veterinary group, the practice offers the stability of a wider network while maintaining a strong local identity.
Here, patient care, communication, and team support sit at the heart of everything. The team is friendly, engaged, and well balanced clinically, allowing you to focus on doing your best work without feeling overstretched or isolated.
The practice is purpose-built, light, and well resourced, creating a calm and efficient working environment for both staff and patients.
You'll be supported by a stable team of experienced RVNs, fellow Veterinary Surgeons with diverse clinical interests, including exotics and imaging, and a welcoming, highly regarded reception team who play a key role in client experience.
There's a strong culture of mentorship and learning, with a proven track record of supporting students through training and into permanent roles. CPD is ongoing, encouraged, and tailored to individual interests and skill gaps.
In this role you'll enjoy a varied GP caseload with the opportunity to deliver preventive healthcare and first-opinion medicine, manage and develop your surgical interests, build meaningful relationships with clients and their pets and contribute positively to a collaborative, respectful team environment.
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset are essential, as this is a practice that genuinely values how people work together.
