Our client is seeking an experienced and confident veterinary surgeon to join their thriving, RCVS-accredited small animal practice based across two welcoming sites in Essex.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet who thrives on clinical freedom, values continuity of care, and wants to work in a genuinely supportive, close-knit team.
With a four-day week, no out-of-hours, and a light 1:4 weekend rota (mornings only), this role offers both flexibility and balance. Consults run 9–11am and 4–6:30pm, with a dedicated surgical window in the middle of the day—giving you space to focus on what you do best. Full and part-time applicants are welcomed.
You’ll be joining a dedicated team of four vets, RVNs, and experienced support staff, all working together to deliver exceptional care in a calm, low-stress environment. The practice is proud of its 150-year legacy in the local community and continues to evolve with modern standards and a patient-first ethos.
Both clinics offer easy access to Colchester, Chelmsford, and London—with countryside charm and seaside escapes less than an hour away.
The package includes a salary of up to £65,000 DOE, 6.6 weeks' holiday, £1,750 CPD allowance, RCVS and VDS fees paid, enhanced family leave, Health Shield cover, colleague perks and discounts, and genuine career progression opportunities.
