Looking for a role that combines clinical freedom, an outstanding caseload, and genuine work-life balance?
This is a standout opportunity to join our client’s modern, purpose-built veterinary hospital in Doncaster—where gold-standard care and team development are at the heart of everything they do.
With no out-of-hours or bank holiday work, and only one in eight Saturday mornings (with TOIL), this role offers the variety and professional challenge you want, with the lifestyle you deserve.
Our client is a multi-site, RCVS-accredited practice that handles a wide range of complex cases. Their team includes experienced vets and certificate holders in surgery, medicine, and imaging. Facilities are exceptional, with access to laparoscopy, ultrasound, endoscopy, Imagyst, i-STAT, dental radiography, and more—giving you the tools and support to work cases up thoroughly, without compromise.
The role can be tailored to your clinical interests, whether that’s soft tissue or orthopaedic surgery (including cruciate, patella and BOAS procedures), internal medicine, or a balanced mix. Dedicated hospital shifts are also part of the rota for those who enjoy inpatient and emergency work. A strong support team, structured clinical development, and excellent peer mentoring ensure you're never left to figure things out alone.
This is a full-time position based on a four-day week, though flexible and part-time arrangements are welcomed. The practice is VetGDP registered and well-equipped to support both experienced vets and recent graduates.
The salary is up to £65,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the workplace—because they’re part of the family too.
Benefits include five weeks' holiday plus the option to buy or sell additional leave, a £1,750 CPD allowance with full certificate funding, paid RCVS, VDS, and one additional professional membership, enhanced family leave, Healthshield cash plan, cycle to work scheme, and more.
This is a rare chance to join a thriving, forward-thinking practice in Doncaster that combines clinical excellence with a down-to-earth, genuinely supportive culture.
