Our fantastic client is seeking a veterinary surgeon ready to take advantage of some excellent opportunities in a friendly, forward thinking practice in the North East of England.
This role could develop into a more senior position for the right candidate.
The practice has a large and supportive team which includes many certificate holders within both the vet and RVN team. The clinic has flourished and is now moving to a stunning purpose built building a stone’s throw away from beautiful countryside and the historic cities of both Durham and York.
The new site will house CT, ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray and endoscopy/laparoscopy.
This clinic actively encourages personal development in all our team members and try to give everyone the opportunity to expand their knowledge and learn new skills.
The role is open to a vet with at least two years experience or a more senior vet who would be open to mentoring and dealing with more challenging cases.
They provide 20 minute appointment slots so the right candidate will have plenty of time to work cases up, communicate well with owners and write up our case notes. They also allow time within the day to call clients with lab results or any admin that may build up throughout the day.
The full-time role is based on a 40h week incorporating 1 in 4 Saturdays with no out of hours, but they would consider a part time candidate for those looking for a more flexible work/life balance.
