We're seeking an enthusiastic ECC Night Vet to join the out-of-hours team at a well-established Small Animal Hospital, providing weekend and holiday cover. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive, forward-thinking hospital environment with a strong reputation for clinical excellence.
The hospital is RCVS-accredited to the highest Small Animal Hospital standard, an accolade held by only a small percentage of practices nationwide. You'll be part of an innovative team that works collaboratively, with dedicated night nurses, twilight triage support, and ACA assistance to ensure cases are handled smoothly and safely.
The role is primarily weekend-based, with shifts running Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm-8.30am, on a two weeks on/two weeks off pattern. There is also the option to pick up additional nights for holiday cover if you'd like more flexibility. Hours and rota patterns can be discussed, as the team is open to tailoring the role for the right candidate.
In return, you'll receive a competitive salary of up to £70,000 pro rata (depending on experience), along with an extensive benefits package designed to support your wellbeing, professional growth, and work-life balance. This includes enhanced holiday entitlement, CPD funding, paid memberships, healthcare contributions, family-friendly leave, and regular career progression opportunities.
If you're a vet with a passion for ECC and want to join a hospital team where your skills are valued, your wellbeing is prioritised, and your career can thrive, we'd love to hear from you.
