Are you a vet who thrives on variety, values teamwork, and wants the freedom to grow your skills in a supportive environment? This independent, family-run practice could be the perfect match for you.

The Role:
  • Independent practice - no corporate pressures, just the freedom to put patient care first.
  • Exciting caseload - from everyday consults to advanced medicine, surgery, and a fascinating mix of exotic species.
  • Support & mentorship - you'll be working alongside an experienced senior team who are passionate about collaboration and development.
  • OOH rota that works for you - 1 week in 8 nights only, with no days tagged onto your night shifts, giving you real balance.
  • Structured development - regular clinical discussions, CPD actively funded and encouraged, and clear opportunities to progress.
This role would suit a proactive vet who's comfortable with routine consults and surgery but eager to take the next step. Whether you're keen to build confidence in emergency work or explore exotics, you'll have the safety net of senior colleagues by your side.

The Package:
  • Salary £38,000-£60,000 DOE, with 6-monthly reviews
  • CPD funded (and encouraged)
  • RCVS, VDS & professional memberships covered
  • Generous staff pet care discounts
  • Free parking, team events & more
This is a practice with over 40 years working in the community. The ethos is simple but powerful: outstanding care whenever you need us. That promise extends not just to patients and clients, but to the team too. You'll be joining a genuinely supportive environment where your wellbeing, voice, and career progression really matter.
