Are you a vet who thrives on variety, enjoys clinical freedom, and values being part of a supportive, skilled team? This role could be your perfect match.
We're working with a well-established, RCVS-accredited practice that combines the best of both worlds: the independence and connection of local branch work, and the reassurance of a large, purpose-built hospital close by when you need extra support.

The Role:

  • 4-day week, 40 hours (part-time considered for the right fit)

  • 1:4 Saturdays at a friendly branch, always backed up by our local hospital for more complex cases

  • Sole-charge Mondays balanced with 3 days in a busy, supportive branch team

  • No OOH - enjoy your evenings free

This role suits a confident and approachable vet who enjoys building lasting client relationships while having the confidence to manage sole charge days. You'll have the chance to work up your own cases, but also the security of referring emergencies and inpatients to our nearby hospital.
With over 45 years of trusted service in the region, this practice has grown into a thriving network with a flagship hospital and multiple branches. You'll join a diverse and welcoming team that includes certificate holders and vets with a wide range of clinical interests, creating an inspiring learning environment.
The ethos is one of collaboration and growth - whether you're pursuing a certificate, developing your surgical confidence, or looking for better work-life balance, you'll be supported every step of the way.

What's on Offer

  • Salary £45,000-£60,000 (FTE, DOE)

  • 6 weeks holiday, including bank holidays

  • £1,750 CPD allowance + support for certificates

  • RCVS, VDS + two memberships covered

  • Health Shield wellbeing scheme (from dental to sports massage)

  • Enhanced parental leave

  • Discounts on veterinary care

  • Cycle to Work & My Perks shopping/travel discounts

  • Company sick pay + annual pay reviews

  • A genuine commitment to wellbeing, engagement, and career development

This is more than just a job - it's a chance to grow your career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment, while enjoying a lifestyle location that offers city buzz, seaside calm, and countryside adventure.
