Are you an RVN dreaming of a role that gives you both professional variety and the space to enjoy life outside of work?
This full-time, permanent position could be the perfect match. With a 4-day working week, you'll have time to recharge while still being part of a busy, progressive team in a beautiful part of the country — where the South Downs, the seaside, and vibrant Brighton are all within easy reach.
This practice is part of a well-established group with a dedicated hospital to support emergencies and OOHs. The team is known for its supportive culture and long-standing relationships with clients, built up over decades. Here, you'll find colleagues who genuinely enjoy working together, a mix of certificate holders to learn from, and a real emphasis on development and sharing knowledge.

The Role:
  • Full-time, permanent position across 4 days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 8am-6pm)
  • Two of your days will be sole charge RVN on site, giving autonomy and responsibility
  • 1:8 weekends at the hospital, with Monday off in lieu
  • 1:14 weeks on the second on-call rota
  • A varied caseload, covering all aspects of nursing, to keep your skills sharp and your days interesting
The Offer:
  • Salary from £30-34k, depending on experience
  • 6 weeks' paid holiday including bank holidays
  • £600 CPD allowance per annum
  • RCVS fees plus one other membership covered
  • VDS cover included
  • Health Shield support for wellbeing — from dentistry to sports massage
  • Enhanced paternity, maternity, adoption, shared parental leave and surrogacy pay
  • Company sick pay and annual pay reviews
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Discounts on shopping, travel, and entertainment
  • Discounted veterinary fees
  • CPD and training actively supported
  • A true focus on wellbeing and creating a positive workplace culture
This role would really suit an RVN who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment but also enjoys the chance to take initiative. If you're looking for a practice that will value your voice, support your professional growth, and give you the flexibility to enjoy life beyond work, this could be the perfect next step.
