Are you an experienced practice manager or leader who thrives in a clinical setting and loves bringing out the best in people?
This independent, community-focused group is looking for a Branch Manager to oversee two West Sussex practices - places where pets, clients, and teams are genuinely cared for.
These clinics have a homely, welcoming feel where clients feel at ease and the team works together with kindness and respect. As Branch Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting and guiding your colleagues, ensuring the smooth running of both sites while helping shape their ongoing success.
It's a role for someone who wants more than just management - you'll be part of a culture built on empathy, communication, and teamwork. This is a chance to feel valued, make a real difference, and enjoy the freedom that comes with working for an independent practice.

About you:
  • Experienced in practice management or leadership within a clinical environment
  • RCVS-qualified (essential)
  • Confident with commercial KPIs and team development
  • A collaborative, supportive leader who shares values of humility, respect, empathy, honesty, work ethic, and communication
The Role:
  • Full-time or part-time applicants considered
  • Based regularly across Pulborough and Ashington clinics
  • Involvement in an on-call rota to support site managers (shared collaboratively)
  • Driving licence and own vehicle required due to local transport links
The Package:
  • Salary: £36,000 - £40,000+ DOE
  • 7 weeks' holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Generously funded CPD
  • Pension scheme
  • 40% staff discount for your own pets
  • Occupational health resources, including mental health support
  • Enhanced parental leave (6 months at 90% pay)
  • Enhanced sickness benefit (2 weeks at 100%)
If you're a natural leader with a passion for people and pets, this is a chance to manage practices where collaboration, kindness, and clinical freedom are at the heart of everything. You'll enjoy the support of a forward-thinking, independent group while having the autonomy to make a difference locally, all within a friendly West Sussex community.
