This is an ideal role for someone who loves working with cats and wants to do so in a calm, carefully designed environment that truly puts feline wellbeing first. The clinic has been thoughtfully created to feel homely, comforting, and low-stress—for both patients and the team. You’ll notice the difference the moment you step inside.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with sound practical skills in feline-specific medicine and soft tissue surgery. Holding or working towards a certificate in feline medicine or a related discipline would be a distinct advantage, though it’s not essential. Above all, this role is for someone who is clinically capable, emotionally intelligent, and aligned with the team’s values of humility, empathy, communication, and respect.
You’ll be part of a supportive, independent practice where kindness, inclusion, and collaboration shape both the client experience and team culture. There’s a genuine sense of belonging here, and clinical freedom is at the heart of everything they do—ensuring vets are able to care for patients in a way that feels both personal and professionally fulfilling.
This is a part-time, 3-day-per-week role with weekday shifts from 8:00am to 6:00pm. You won’t initially be expected to join the weekend or bank holiday rota, though this may be reviewed in future with notice and consideration. The role is salaried between £45,000 and £55,000+ FTE, depending on experience and qualifications.
