Are you a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and patients, values clinical freedom, and wants to work within a genuinely supportive independent practice?
This highly regarded independent practice on the Sussex coast is seeking an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and established team. This is an excellent opportunity for a true GP vet who enjoys a varied first-opinion caseload, continuity of care, and the autonomy to make decisions based on what's best for the patient.
You'll work alongside a dedicated team of vets, RVNs and support staff, building strong client relationships and enjoying the continuity of care that comes from seeing your own cases through.
This well-supported, independent village practice has built an outstanding reputation for both patient care and team wellbeing. Clinical decisions are driven by patient needs rather than targets, and vets are encouraged to develop their own interests while enjoying a healthy work-life balance.
Located close to the coast, you'll even have the option of spending your lunch break by the sea, with protected breaks and a culture that genuinely values time away from the consulting room.

About You:
  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • Ideally 2+ years' UK small animal experience
  • Confident with routine medical, surgical and dental procedures
  • Strong communicator who enjoys client interaction
  • Comfortable with occasional sole charge
  • Looking for a long-term role within a supportive team
The Role:
  • Salary £51,000-£68,000 DOE
  • Full or part-time considered
  • 1:3 Saturday mornings and one evening clinic per week (finishing at 6:30pm)
  • No OOH
  • Paid overtime if required
  • 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays
  • £2,000 CPD allowance
  • Certificate funding and support
  • Professional memberships paid
  • Company pension
  • Staff discount
  • Free parking
  • Flexible full or part-time working
If you're looking for a role where you can enjoy being a great GP vet, build meaningful client relationships, and work within a supportive independent practice, we'd love to hear from you.
