An independent, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in Warwickshire is looking for an dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join its close-knit team.
The practice has grown significantly over the last few years and is now looking for a vet with some postgraduate experience, who wants to develop alongside it.
The practice's approach is centred around three core values: collaborative, compassionate and committed.
It offers something particularly valuable in first opinion: time and structure. Online booking, organised processes and protected time for tasks such as reporting laboratory results are designed to reduce interruptions and make the working day more manageable.
The practice works exclusively with dogs and cats, allowing the team to focus on delivering confident first-opinion care within their areas of expertise.
It's a small team where new ideas are encouraged and people are given the opportunity to influence how the practice develops. Quarterly team days provide time away from the clinical workload for training, reflection and discussion of new initiatives.
You'll have a varied caseload with support to develop your existing skills and work towards further certification if that's something you're interested in.
The practice has also recently expanded into the neighbouring unit, adding additional theatre space, a hydrotherapy unit and a full-time physiotherapist.
There is scope to invest in equipment and services based on the clinical interests of the team.
Career progression is structured and transparent, with salary banding providing a clear framework for development.

The Offer:
  • Salary: £42,000-£55,000 FTE (+ profit share)
  • 4-day working week with 1:4 Saturday mornings
  • No out-of-hours or bank holidays
  • Part time considered
  • Company profit share
  • Overtime paid or TOIL

  • CPD and certificate support
  • Private Medical Insurance through Aviva
  • Health Shield healthcare cashback
  • Mintago financial advice and benefits
  • Salary sacrifice schemes
