A fantastic opportunity to help shape a practice from the very beginning.
This forward-thinking, independent, family-owned veterinary group is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their about to open South London practice.
This is a chance to help build up a brand-new, purpose-built surgery alongside an experienced Head Vet—creating a culture, clinical standards, and team dynamic you can truly be proud of.
You'll be joining at launch stage—a rare opportunity to influence how a practice runs, how a team collaborates, and how care is delivered.
The environment has been thoughtfully designed with both clinical excellence and wellbeing in mind, providing a spacious, light-filled setting that feels calm for patients and inspiring for the team. There are multiple consult rooms and dedicated surgical, dental, and imaging spaces.
This is a hands-on, clinically rewarding GP position where you'll also play a key role in shaping standards and supporting others.
You'll enjoy a varied caseload and the autonomy to work cases up properly, with time built into your day to do things well.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering high-quality consultations and clinical care
  • Performing routine and more advanced surgical procedures
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with clients
  • Supporting and mentoring an engaged nursing team
  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture
  • Playing an active role in clinical governance and standards
There's genuine scope here to develop a clinical interest, with support and investment to help you grow.
The Role:
  • Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (DOE)
  • 4-day week (9-hour shifts) with 1 in 4 weekends
  • Dedicated admin time built into every shift
  • Generous CPD allowance + funded memberships
  • Internal leadership and career development pathways
  • Opportunity to step into leadership or develop a niche interest
  • Quarterly recognition incentives
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Enhanced family-friendly policies
  • Wellbeing support services
  • Compassionate leave
  • Staff discounts, free pet care, and lifestyle perks
  • Electric car scheme + income protection
If you're looking for a role where you can make a real impact from day one, this could be the perfect opportunity.
