This independent group is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to help establish their brand-new surgery in East Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role from day one, enjoying the autonomy of a close-knit team while benefiting from the support of a wider network of experienced colleagues.
The role offers a varied first-opinion medical and surgical caseload with no out-of-hours, flexible working and a genuine commitment to work-life balance. It is initially sole charge, but alongside the owner and a visiting team of peripatetic surgeons, with excellent support from experienced colleagues across the wider group.
 
About You:
  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • Ideally 2+ years' UK small animal experience
  • Confident with routine first-opinion medicine and surgery
  • Comfortable with occasional sole charge
  • Friendly, proactive and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care

The Role:
  • Salary: up to £80,000 (DOE)
  • 4-day week with 1:2 Saturday mornings (part time considered)
  • No Sundays, bank holidays or on-call
