This proudly independent, vet-owned RCVS-accredited hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive senior team. Whether you'd prefer a first on-call position or a senior back-up role, this is a fantastic opportunity to shape a role around your experience while enjoying genuine clinical autonomy and a varied first-opinion caseload.
 
The Role:
  • Flexible 3 or 5-day week depending on your preferred rota
  • Choice of first on-call or senior back-up OOH responsibilities
  • Varied mix of consultations, surgery and inpatient care
  • Protected lunch breaks and scheduled admin time
  • Mentor and support recent graduates and developing vets
  • Opportunity to develop clinical interests while maintaining a broad GP caseload
This independent, VetGDP-approved hospital is led by Advanced Practitioners who are passionate about clinical excellence, teaching and supporting their team. You'll work alongside experienced vets and dedicated nursing staff in a genuinely collaborative environment, with continuity of care through the practice's own out-of-hours service.
The Package:
  • Salary £40,000-£65,000 DOE
  • Flexible senior role with two OOH options
  • 33 days holiday plus option to buy an additional 5 days
  • £1,500 CPD allowance plus enhanced support for Advanced Practitioners
