Are you an experienced RVN ready to step into a senior role where you can genuinely influence both clinical standards and team culture? We are proud to be working with a well-established, beautifully presented practice in SW London, seeking a dedicated and motivated Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who is looking to settle into a leadership position within a supportive, close-knit environment where your voice is heard and your development is actively encouraged. You'll be joining a team that truly values high-quality patient care, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will take responsibility for leading and supporting the nursing team, ensuring consistently high and progressive standards of care across the practice. You'll play a hands-on role clinically, assisting veterinary surgeons in theatre and during consultations, while also utilising your Schedule 3 skills to their full potential.
You'll be instrumental in maintaining excellent patient welfare standards, ensuring all equipment is well maintained and fully operational, and that clinical protocols, including controlled drug audits, are followed meticulously. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will oversee the reception function, supporting the client care team to deliver a seamless, friendly, and professional service across all touchpoints.
As a clinical supervisor, you'll also have the opportunity to support and mentor student nurses, playing an important role in developing the next generation of veterinary professionals.
The practice itself is ideally located in one of South West London's most desirable areas, offering the perfect balance between a busy clinical environment and an enjoyable lifestyle outside of work. With green spaces, excellent transport links, and a vibrant local scene all within easy reach, it's a location that truly supports a healthy work-life balance.
This role would suit an RVN who is ready to take that next step into a senior position, or someone already in a leadership role looking for a fresh, supportive environment where they can continue to grow.
In return, our client is offering a competitive salary alongside a comprehensive benefits package designed to support both your professional development and personal wellbeing:
  • Salary of £35,000 to £39,000 depending on experience, with scope for progression
  • 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays
  • Annual CPD budget plus up to 2 days' paid CPD leave
  • Paid 30-minute lunch breaks
  • Access to a private medical healthcare scheme at a reduced rate, plus medical cashback incentives
  • Structured leadership training to support your transition into a senior role
If you're looking for a role where you can develop as a leader, feel valued within your team, and continue delivering exceptional care, I'd love to share more details with you.
