Are you an experienced RVN looking for a role where your voice is genuinely heard, your development is actively supported, and your nursing skills are truly valued?
This thriving independent practice in South West London is looking for a Senior RVN to join a highly respected, forward-thinking team in a beautifully equipped hospital environment that bridges the gap between first opinion and referral-level care.
This role would suit a nurse who enjoys leadership, mentoring others, and being deeply involved in patient care, while still working as part of a kind, collaborative and down-to-earth team.
Since opening in 2020, this independently owned veterinary group has built an exceptional reputation for delivering advanced, compassionate care across both general practice and referral services.
The clinical team works closely with visiting specialists and certificate holders across multiple disciplines, giving nurses exposure to a fascinating and varied caseload rarely found in a typical first opinion setting.
The culture is one of genuine teamwork, continuous learning, and mutual support. New ideas are welcomed, development is encouraged, and the leadership team is deeply invested in creating an environment where people can flourish professionally and personally.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is looking for a role with a strong leadership and mentoring focus and enjoys being fully utilised clinically.
Working closely with the Clinical Operations Manager and Head Nurse, you'll help oversee the day-to-day running of the clinical team while maintaining exceptionally high standards of patient and client care.

You'll play an important role in:
  • Supporting and mentoring the nursing team
  • Helping develop protocols and clinical standards
  • Coaching students and junior nurses
  • Supporting workflow and inpatient care
  • Encouraging a positive, collaborative team culture
  • Helping the team continue progressing clinically
The practice is passionate about developing its nurses and actively encourages further learning, certificates, and progression into specialist interests. Whether you already have advanced nursing interests or are looking to grow into them, you'll be supported every step of the way.
You will be joining a team that is friendly, ambitious, supportive, and genuinely invested in each other's wellbeing. This is a practice where nurses are empowered to contribute ideas, develop clinically, and take ownership of their progression, not simply follow instructions.
Previous leadership or clinical coaching experience would be advantageous, but attitude, emotional intelligence, and a willingness to learn are valued just as highly.

The Offer:
  • Competitive salary dependent on experience
  • £1,500 CPD allowance plus 3 paid CPD days annually
  • Certificate support encouraged
  • RCVS fees paid
  • Paid overtime and TOIL
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Additional loyalty leave with service
  • Birthday off
  • Health cash plan contributions
  • Discounted veterinary care and pet food
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Purpose-built, modern facilities
  • Exposure to advanced and referral-level cases
  • Supportive independent practice culture
If you're looking for a role where you can continue progressing, feel appreciated, and be part of a team that truly enjoys working together, we'd love to speak with you.
