This well-established, large veterinary hospital in North East London is looking to welcome a Senior RVN into their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident nurse ready to step into a senior-level position while maintaining strong clinical involvement across a diverse caseload.
You'll play a key role across multiple areas of the hospital, supporting where needed and bringing consistency, leadership, and clinical excellence to the wider team. There is a real emphasis on support, with leadership training provided to help you transition confidently into your senior role.
You can expect to be involved in theatre and anaesthesia, inpatient and ward care, nurse consultations and emergency and critical care support. The role will naturally vary week to week, covering departments during annual leave and supporting the wider hospital function.
You'll be joining a large, collaborative team where nurses are a central part of patient care and decision-making. You'll enjoy a varied caseload including orthopaedics, soft tissue, and minimally invasive procedures, while working alongside experienced clinicians across medicine and surgery, a substantial RVN and SVN team, dedicated patient care assistants and a strong front-of-house support team.
This is a true hospital setting, offering exposure to a wide and interesting caseload, including internally referred cases. The hospital has excellent facilities with advanced diagnostic tools including CT and an in-house laboratory.
 
The Role:
  • Salary: £35,000 - £39,000 (DOE)
  • 4-day week (40 hours) with 1:6 weekend rota (time off in lieu)
  • Limited bank holiday requirement and minimal on-call involvement
