This forward-thinking, independent veterinary group is preparing to open a brand-new, purpose-built surgery in South West London and are looking for a passionate RVN to join their founding team.
From the very beginning, you'll have a genuine voice in how the practice evolves. From clinical standards to team culture, this is your chance to be part of building a workplace where nursing is truly valued and fully utilised.
You'll be working in a beautifully designed, modern environment—light, spacious, and purpose-built with both patient care and team wellbeing in mind. With multiple consult rooms, dedicated theatres, separate dental and imaging suites, and a well-planned prep and ward space, everything has been created to support high-quality, stress-free clinical work.
But what really sets this role apart is your influence.
You won't just join a team, you'll help create it. You'll play a key role in shaping how the practice runs, how the team communicates, and how care is delivered every single day.

Your day-to-day will include:
  • Supporting consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures
  • Running nurse clinics and promoting preventative care
  • Delivering high-quality inpatient care and monitoring anaesthesia
  • Involvement in lab work, imaging, and theatre nursing
  • Supporting and mentoring student nurses where appropriate
  • Creating a warm, reassuring experience for clients and their pets
This is a hands-on role where your input matters—and where your nursing skills won't go underutilised.

The Offer:
  • Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 (DOE)
  • 39-40 hr 4-day week with 1:4 weekends
  • Flexibility considered
  • Funded professional fees
  • Generous CPD support with real opportunities to grow
  • Income protection
  • Monthly nurse recognition initiatives
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay
  • Compassionate leave
  • Dedicated wellbeing support
  • Staff discounts on treatments and products
  • Free consultations for your own pets
  • Retail, travel, and lifestyle discounts
You'll also have access to longer-term rewards, charity involvement, and clear progression pathways if you're looking to grow your career.
Opportunities to join a brand-new practice at this stage—where you can genuinely influence how things are done—are rare. If you've been feeling restricted, unheard, or ready for a fresh start where your role has real impact, this could be exactly what you've been waiting for.
