Are you an RVN who wants to feel genuinely valued in a progressive, well-equipped hospital—where your skills are fully utilised and your wellbeing is prioritised?
We're working with a forward-thinking veterinary group launching a brand-new, purpose-built 24-hour hospital in Central London, and they're looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their growing day team.
This is a rare opportunity to be part of something from the very beginning, in a setting designed to support both clinical excellence and a positive, collaborative culture.
Why this opportunity stands out
This hospital has been carefully designed to reflect what modern veterinary practice should look like. Spanning three floors and 4,500 sq ft, it offers a spacious, well-thought-out environment that supports high standards of care and a smooth, efficient workflow.
Facilities include four consult rooms, two fully equipped operating theatres, a dedicated dental suite, full in-house laboratory, CT scanner and advanced imaging, hydrotherapy and physiotherapy services, and separate dog and cat wards.
You'll have access to excellent equipment including ventilators, advanced anaesthesia machines, uMEC12 monitoring systems, ultrasound, IMV X-ray, and laparoscopic and endoscopy equipment.
This is a practice where nursing is central to patient care, not secondary to it.
The role
This position would suit an RVN with at least one to two years' post-qualification experience who enjoys a varied caseload and wants to work to a high clinical standard.
You'll be involved across all aspects of the day-to-day running of the hospital, from inpatient care and theatre work to nurse consults and supporting diagnostics. There is real scope to utilise your full skillset, including Schedule 3 procedures, within a supportive and collaborative team.
You'll be encouraged to take ownership of your role, contribute ideas, and play an active part in shaping how the nursing team operates as the hospital grows.
The rota is structured as a five-day week with eight-hour shifts, one in three weekends, and time off in lieu, ensuring a healthy and sustainable work-life balance.
The ethos and culture
This is a team that truly values its nurses.
You'll be supported to use your clinical judgement, develop your skills, and feel confident in your role. Open communication, mutual respect, and teamwork are at the heart of how this hospital operates.
There is also a strong focus on progression. Whether you're interested in developing a clinical niche, progressing into a senior or leadership role, or pursuing further qualifications, you'll be supported every step of the way.
What's on offer
Salary will be discussed at interview and is highly competitive.
You'll benefit from a structured rota, access to excellent facilities, and the opportunity to be part of a brand-new hospital environment where standards are high and ideas are welcomed.
Most importantly, you'll join a team where you are genuinely valued, supported, and given the opportunity to build a fulfilling long-term career.
A Vetmatch perspective
At Vetmatch, we understand how important it is for nurses to feel respected, heard, and able to grow. This role is ideal for an RVN who is looking for a modern, progressive environment where they can thrive both professionally and personally.
If this sounds like the kind of move you've been looking for, I'd love to tell you more.
