Are you an experienced and driven RVN ready to step into a leadership role where you can truly make a difference? We are working with a busy, forward-thinking 24-hour hospital in Sussex that is looking for a passionate individual to take the next step in their career, whether you are already a Head RVN, Practice Manager, or an ambitious nurse ready to progress.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established hospital environment where clinical excellence and team culture go hand in hand. You'll be surrounded by a highly skilled team, including certificate holders across multiple disciplines, alongside a dedicated and supportive nursing and client care team. Together, they share a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding patient care, every day.
In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the wider leadership team to support the smooth and efficient running of a 24-hour service. You'll play a key part in ensuring both day and night teams are well-supported, well-structured, and able to perform at their best. This position offers real scope to influence not only day-to-day operations but also the longer-term development and direction of the hospital.
You'll take ownership of rota management across the team, ensuring fair, balanced scheduling that supports both patient care and team wellbeing. You'll bring people together through well-run clinical meetings, encouraging open communication and continuous improvement. Handling both clinical and service-related feedback, you'll approach challenges with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-focused mindset. Maintaining oversight of performance across the hospital, you'll ensure consistently high standards while empowering your team through clear delegation and support.
We're looking for someone with proven experience in a senior nursing or management role within a busy practice or hospital setting. You'll be a natural leader who can motivate and inspire those around you, from vets to support staff, creating a positive and collaborative environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a genuine passion for patient care, team development, and doing things the right way.
This role would suit someone who is proactive, open-minded, and excited by the opportunity to shape and improve how a hospital operates. If you're looking for a position where your voice is heard, your ideas are valued, and your career can continue to grow, this could be the perfect next step.
If this sounds like the kind of environment where you would thrive, I'd love to tell you more.
